Before that, she spent five years as a senior editor at a Stockholm-based gambling-news outlet, where she ran a small team covering Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish regulated markets. Before journalism, she worked five years inside the regulatory reporting team at a Nordic bank, which is where she learned how slowly money actually moves and how often the small print is where the trouble lives.

She owns the editorial standards at crashgames.com, which means: every brand claim is sourced, every Return-to-Player figure has a citation, every promo code on the site has been re-checked within the last 30 days, and no review goes live without a separate hands-on test from Tomás on the testing desk. She also writes the responsible-gambling and affiliate-disclosure copy.

Sara holds reviews to a Swedish-licensing-style standard whether or not the brand in question is Swedish-licensed. She thinks 'casino news' as a genre is mostly press releases retyped, and she will not let that ship on this site.
